Appelsap Fresh Music Festival 2016, first announcements
JAZZ CARTIER, SECTION BOYZ, D.R.A.M., BENJI-B presents DEVIATION, BEA1991, CINNAMAN and ELF KID are some of the first names to perform at Appelsap Fresh Music Festival 2016.
On Saturday, August 13, Appelsap Fresh Music Festival will descend on the Flevopark in Amsterdam to showcase the very best – and latest – in Hiphop, R&B and Electronic Music. All early bird tickets are sold out. Regular tickets go for 39,- euro via www.appelsap.net
Last year's festival billed headliners Skepta, Rich Homie Quan,
Mobb Deep and Stormzy. More names for 2016 will be announced soon.
Appelsap x ADE at SXSW
On March 17th, Appelsap organizes together with Amsterdam Dance Event a special showcase of Dutch talent: Patta Soundsystem: FS Green & Lion Kojo (NL), Cinnaman (NL), Bea1991 (NL) and a special guest performance by Elf Kid (UK).
Appelsap Fresh Music Festival is famous for introducing the latest in international Hiphop and Bass artists to a Dutch crowd. In previous years the festival welcomed headliners such as Kendrick Lamar, Disclosure, Travi$ Scott, Stormzy, Lunice, Rich Homie Quan, Flatbush Zombies, Rashad & Spinn, French Montana, Danny Brown, ScHoolboy Q, Machinedrum, Theophilus London, Jesse Boykins III, music platform Boiler Room and Los Angeles’ finest party The Do-Over all to appear for the first time in the Amsterdam open air. Other names that billed earlier Appelsap line ups are Hudson Mohawke, Waka Flocka Flame, Skepta, Clipse, Action Bronson, Pharoahe Monch, Rustie, Major Lazer, DJ EZ, J. Dilla, Rich Medina, DJ Riz, Krept & Konan, Jackmaster and Kurtis Blow. Some of the best DJ’s are the festival’s best friends: FS Green, Cinnaman, SP, Lefto, Benji-B, Vic Crezée, The Flexican and Breach are all well known returning guests.

Appelsap Fresh Music Festival brings world-class Hiphop, R&B, electronic music and Dutch talent to Amsterdam.
Since starting out as a free block jam back in 2000, Appelsap has grown into the groundbreaking festival it is today. Its line-up ranges from local talent to the elite of world-class Hiphop, Soul, R&B and progressive electronic music. Despite the festival’s continuing growth, the convivial atmosphere is still as tangible as it was during the early block jam days. Besides fresh music, there is a wide range of international cuisine and activities for kids (who can get in for free under 12).
